I'm a research associate for the Key Biodiversity Areas programme at Wildlife Conservation Society Canada. I'm a first-generation university graduate and researcher and excited about accessibility in science, and communication strategies that make scientific results engaging and actionable to non-experts.
I grew up on the west coast of Canada in a small town near Vancouver. I attribute my love for nature to the fortunate location of my upbringing. When I'm not doing or talking science, I'm likely to be found hiking, cycling, diving or knitting.
