Welcome to the Fisheries and Integrated Coastal Health (FICH) Lab. We are a new research group at the University of Victoria (est. 2026). More details coming soon! Please note, due to funding constraints, we are not currently recruiting graduate students.

We are grateful visitors on the territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Songhees and Xʷsepsəm/Esquimalt) and W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples. Upholding Indigenous sovereignty is a key tenet of our work and is integrated throughout our practice. We are honoured to work with, and on the territories of, the Mowachaht/Muchalaht First Nation, the Musgamagw Dzawada’enuxw Peoples, the ʼNa̱mgis First Nation, and the Mamalilikulla First Nation.
